Wembley announces “name your rate offer” during September 2011

Wembley Stadium is inviting event organisers to quote their own rates for any event at the Stadium as an unique offer during the month of September.

Jackie Boughton of DNC Wembley said: “We are offering clients the opportunity to name their own room hire rates when they ask for a quote. We are simply asking event planners to send us an email outlining their event requirements and what they want to pay for their room hire. We will consider their offer, check availability and let them know if we are able to accept it or not.”

Jackie continues: “We wanted to do something a little different to entice some different people to the venue. This rather unusual way of costing our space is only available for events in September and we are being very open minded about client requests. In many ways it is another example of the great work we have been doing recently to reach out and communicate with clients, assessing their needs and reacting to them. We have rooms to suit all events, menus to suit all tastes and packages to suit all budgets.”

Wembley Stadium offers rooms for meetings, awards ceremonies, product launches, conferences, weddings, exhibitions and graduation ceremonies, and can accommodate guests from two to over 2,000. Its inspiring setting allows for flexible configurations of tables and seating. Buffet style dining adds an element of informality where delegates can communicate comfortably.

Don’t forget that your proposed room hire rate should consider the following inclusions:
• Cleaning
• Security
• General utilities
• Single phase power
• Chairs, tables and standard linen
• Room set-up according to your agreed plan
• Full event co-ordination support

This offer applies to the hire of the main event room only, is not to be used in conjunction with any other offer and is valid for bookings taking place between 1-30 September 2011 only. If Wembley is unable to accept client offers they may suggest an alternative rate as close to your request as possible. This offer is subject to availability and not applicable to catering.
