Glasgow restaurants awarded SECC champions
The Scottish Exhibition + Conference Centre (SECC) has awarded its latest coveted ‘Champion’ accolade to the Glasgow Restaurateurs’ Association and its members for their contribution to The City and the overall visitor experience.
Ryan James, Chair of Glasgow Restaurateurs’ Association was presented with the award in recognition of its members’ role in showcasing Glasgow’s excellent restaurant scene to business travellers coming to Glasgow.
As part of the SECC’s 25th Anniversary Year celebrations, the Glasgow Restaurateurs’ Association and its members is one of 25 organisations and individuals being recognised for the positive impact they have had on the business over the years.
Ben Goedegebuure, Director of Sales, SECC comments; “The Glasgow Restaurateurs’ Association and their members have been instrumental in us being able to deliver a first class visitor experience that not only showcases the venue but the city as a whole.
“By working with the Glasgow Restaurateurs’ Association members, visitors can experience the best culinary delights the city has to offer which we find appeals to those visitors looking to combine business with pleasure.”
