We are a vibrant, effective and highly professional trade body serving an established event venue community, focused on creating and driving platforms that service fundamental industry needs.
AEV is run by its members for the benefit of its members through an elected council of
representatives, specialist working groups and a full time secretariat.
AEV membership enables venues to work closely with members of its sister organisations, Association of Event Organisers (AEO) and Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) to increase the profile and significance of events within the marketing mix.
AEV runs its own specific member working groups, and also participates in a number of specialist industry groups alongside AEO and ESSA members. Please find listings of all these working groups and their members below.
If you wish to become involved in any of these Working Groups, please contact Dani Bull at email@example.com. Your nomination will then be put forward to the relevant Working Group for approval.

The CDM Resource Pack is intended to help you understand the responsibilities of the various stake holders in the event industry. The Construction, Design & Management (CDM) Regulations do not replace any existing law but are intended to provide a framework to help you meet the requirement and helping you understand your obligations.

Events for Namuwongo
Events for Namuwongo is an innovative partnership of people and companies who have come together to support this community by not only adopting them, but caring for this community to create real change for those who live there. Working together as a team, Events for Namuwongo along with different charities, supporters, the local university, local leaders and the wider community will come together and work in a united way to deliver the change needed by this community.
Event industry leaders got together at the Global Event Summit in London, in September, and decided to work together to create an industry cause.
Events for Namuwongo has adopted Namuwongo, a slum community of approximately 20,000 people on the edge of Kampala in Uganda. The community suffers from poverty, polluted water, lack of sanitation and education, and has been ravaged by AIDS and neighbouring wars.
It is also a community of hard working, energetic people, striving to solve their own problems and improve their own lives.
