Logistics Sub Group Update

A new Sub Cross Association Logistics working group met in March to identify areas where communication, safety, exhibition logistics efficiencies and best practice could be improved. Ray Miles (CEVA Show Freight) chaired the meeting and provided the group with scenarios to help illustrate this need.

It was recognised that there were common themes that divide best practice and this was due to poor planning, communication and ineffective reporting of issues. It was also noted that those companies who are new to the industry lacked industry support.

Universal agreement that increased focus on the Stop the Drop resource, eGuide and CDM regulations is needed.

The sub group will kick start this via a think tank and will release finalised campaign via the Health & Safety Cross Association Working Group.
