The board meet quarterly and operate through a series of Steering Groups. These groups focus on specific areas to help shape and deliver the priorities of the AEV including marketing, events, research and member benefits.
"Taking the reins from outgoing chair Jeremy Rees, I will continue our focus on preparing the whole industry for the future of events. Our association is in excellent shape to take initiatives forward, particularly around bringing people together for mutual gain, the very principal on which our industry is based. This is an exciting time, and as chair, I look forward to being able to assist and facilitate our members in addressing the challenges and opportunities coming our way."
Dan Thurlow, (Director of Exhibition Sales, Scottish Event Campus - SEC)
