Applications and Data Manager

Reporting directly to the Head of IT, this role is working on a full time, permanent basis.

Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Taking ownership of core business applications, ensuring they are effectively supported, maintained and continuously improved
  • Managing application support, resolving issues and liaising with external suppliers where required
  • Supporting and enhancing reporting, analytics and AI-enabled solutions to deliver business insight
  • Identifying and delivering system and process improvements that increase efficiency and support business objectives
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver system changes enhancements and new solutions

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience supporting and managing business-critical applications
  • Experience working with data, reporting, system integrations and business intelligence solutions
  • A proven ability to identify and deliver system or process improvements
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across multiple business functions
  • Excellent problem solving analytical and organisational skills
  • Experience with ERP, event management or finance systems, and tools such as SQL, Power Bi or similar

You must:

  • Be able to take ownership of issues and drive them through to resolution
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Understand how business systems, data and integrations support operational processes
  • Be comfortable working with AI-enabled technologies and emerging technologies and emerging digital solutions
  • Be able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a proactive, flexible and collaborative approach to work
