Sales Account Manager

Your Role

Competitive salary up to £34,000pa / 25 days holiday plus bank holidays / contributory pension scheme / discounted car parking

Reporting directly to the Senior Account Manager, this role is working on a full time, permanent basis.

Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Meeting and exceeding individual and team sales targets, managing the full sales cycle from enquiry to contract close.
  • Creating bespoke proposals, quotations and contracts in line with commercial and pricing guidelines.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies and partners, identifying upsell and growth opportunities.
  • Developing and delivering a corporate sales strategy in collaboration with the Senior Account Manager to retain and attract business.
  • Proactively identifying and securing new corporate opportunities, making commercially informed decisions that support venue performance and wider economic impact

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience identifying and winning new business within a structured sales environment.
  • Experience using CRM systems and producing accurate sales reporting.
  • An understanding of the events or hospitality industry from a sales and/or operational perspective

You must:

  • Demonstrate strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills at all levels.
  • Be commercially astute with the ability to balance strategic objectives and client needs
  • Be a collaborative team player with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Be confident, engaging and client focused.
  • Be willing to undertake a flexible working pattern as needed by the business
