ACC LIVERPOOL LAUNCHES NEW 360 VIRTUAL TOUR OF CAMPUS

ACC Liverpool has launched a new 360 virtual venue tour to enable event organisers to take a remote journey through the campus.

Viewers are able to explore every part of the waterfront venue which includes ACC Liverpool, Exhibition Centre Liverpool and the M&S Bank Arena.  The tour includes high resolution 360 degree photography, interactive hotspots containing the latest information such as revised covid-secure capacities which will be put in place when large scale conferences, meetings and exhibitions are able to restart.

Visitors are able to explore the blank canvas of each space as well as the versatility of the campus such as when transformed into banquet halls or exhibitions.

Adrian Evans, assistant director of conference and exhibition sales, said: “In the current climate, we know that site visits may be challenging for event organisers so we wanted to ensure that as well as being available here in person, we could also offer the very best virtual product to our clients. That's why we have invested in a new 360 virtual tour, to allow event organisers to navigate through every room and meeting space without leaving the comfort of their desk.

“Organisers can explore layouts and click on interactive hotspots which include details such as revised room capacities and key features. While nothing beats face to face interaction, we are pleased to be able to show organisers the versatility of our campus virtually, with the high level of detail they need for their planning.

“Despite the current challenges our industry is facing, conferences and exhibitions will return and now more than ever, our focus is on finding new ways to make the event planning journey as smooth as possible.â€'

ACC Liverpool recently created a virtual visitor flythrough to highlight the measures the campus has put in place to ensure it is covid-secure, this can also be viewed within the new 360 Virtual Tour.

The flythrough features updated compliance plans, introduced in line with the government approved ‘All Secure Standard' and as part of a series of accreditations received including VisitEngland's We're Good to Go industry standard and the Meetings Industry Association's ‘AIM Secure' standard for business events.

Measures include protective screens at welcome desks; hand sanitisers throughout including wall-mounted and free-standing; one-way systems; anti-viral electrostatic spraying machines; socially distanced meeting rooms and bathrooms as well as new digital and print messaging across the campus.

The ACC Liverpool Group is a member of the event industry initiative ‘Project Confidence' consisting of partners across industry bodies ESSA (Event Supplier and Services Association), the AEO (Association of Event Organisers) and AEV (Association of Event Venues).
