AEV announces date and venue for 2018 conference.

The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has announced that its 2018 conference, built on the theme of ‘Tomorrow's World', will be held at ExCeL London on Thursday June 28. The ever popular conference icebreaker, held the evening prior, will be hosted by The O2.
Jeremy Rees, chair of the AEV board, welcomed the announcement saying, “I am both delighted and proud to be hosting the 2018 AEV Conference at ExCeL London, this marks a response to the feedback and learning from our previous conferences as we move between city and regional venues. Informed by the feedback from the last conference we've chosen the theme of ‘Tomorrow's World', and we're aiming to give our delegates a practical look into the future of events, and how they are likely to be shaped by changes in the industry, marketing, technology and other factors.”
This will be the third AEV conference, designed to give event venue teams a strong programme of content and a forum for discussion, this year focused on the practical and real-world solutions that will be facing venues in the future and the effect caused by the changes in the consumer space. The AEV will release further details of the conference programme, conference speakers and the ice-breaker event as they are confirmed.
