AEV announces new member Central Hall Westminster

The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has welcomed Grade II* listed location, Central Hall Westminster, as its newest member.

Inaugurated as a meeting venue by the Methodist Church in 1912, Central Hall Westminster’s distinctive architecture, grandeur and rich heritage forms the basis of its conference and events expertise and has welcomed many illustrious public figures including Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi and the Prince of Wales.

The venue is now considered one of the largest conference and events venues in London and hosts over 800 diverse events annually.

Sarah Franczak, chief operating officer, Central Hall Venues, which runs Central Hall Westminster, said “We are delighted to be joining the AEV and look forward to expanding our knowledge and collaborating with like-minded venues. Central Hall Westminster has an extensive history of hosting a plethora of events and hopes to be able to share our experiences, whilst also increasing our voice in the events industry.”

Rachel Parker, director, AEV, commented “We are pleased to welcome Central Hall Westminster to our association. The venue will benefit greatly from the opportunity our association offers for members to collaborate with industry peers, share best practice and insights and from the knowledge we share on latest trends, technology and venue management policies.  I am sure Central Hall Westminster will also have a great deal of experience to share with our association members.”
