AEV board joined by new member.

The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has announced that Graeme Cumming, finance director and interim managing director of the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC), has joined the AEV board. The AECC is already closely involved many of the AEV working groups, and representing one of the UK's northernmost conference centres, Cumming will help the board maintain its nationwide perspective.

Cumming commented “I'm delighted to join the AEV board, and I'm looking forward to working with the chair and fellow board members to help set the AEV's strategic direction, and contribute to the association's vital advocacy of the industry.”

Graham Stephenson, chair of the AEV board and managing director of the Business Design Centre (BDC), welcomed Cumming to the board saying, “The AECC has been a significant contributor to our vibrant working groups, and it's a pleasure to welcome Graeme to the board.”
