AEV reveals conference keynote speaker and early bird offer.
The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has, today, announced Rob May, executive chairman of ramsac, will open the AEV annual conference at Excel London on Friday 14 November 2025.
An author and leading voice on AI, cybersecurity and business leadership, May has decades of experience advising C-suites and leadership teams and specialises in demystifying emerging technologies and helping businesses harness innovation safely and effectively.
Rachel Parker, CEO, AEV, commented, "Rob is known for his straightforward delivery and fast-paced and practical sessions, which perfectly complements the theme of this year’s conference ‘Accelerate. Shaping the future of event venues.’”
The dynamic programme for the ninth annual AEV conference will explore how to enhance the event experience and drive the industry forward. Relevant to event industry professionals, the programme is packed with sessions focussing on the impact of Protect Duty, generational workforce dynamics and viewing venues through a retail lens. Parker added, “Our attendees will be challenged to face the uncomfortable truths about AI and how to operate through it – no sugar coating. Rob will set the tone for the conference and we will continue with that energy throughout the day.”
Booking is now open, offering an early bird rate until Friday 17 October 2025.
