AEV reveals conference keynote speaker and early bird offer.
The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has, today, revealed Floyd Woodrow, founder and CEO of Super North Star and Compass for Life foundation and Chairman of the Quantum Group, will open the AEV annual conference at the ICC Birmingham on Thursday, 14 November 2024.
A former special forces soldier, Woodrow will share his own life experience relating to goal setting, achieving and leadership. In line with this year’s theme ‘20:20 vision. Experience. Educate. Engage.’ Woodrow will equip delegates with the knowledge for goal setting for the future, be it for them personally or for their venues as part of a proactive member of the AEV.
Rachel Parker, director, AEV, commented, "Floyd’s experience and knowledge is an excellent fit for our 20:20 vision theme and I am certain he will educate our delegates so they can take away all they need to engage their goals and objectives. A compelling and motivating start to the event.”
The eighth annual conference for AEV promises a programme packed with useful insight for all event industry professionals covering goal setting, security, AI and sustainability. The full programme is now available on the AEV conference website.
Parker added, “Booking is now open. We are delighted to be able to offer our early bird rate once again and excited to celebrate our 20th birthday with a party which is included in the delegate fee.”
The early bird offer is available until Friday 18 October 2024. Tickets include entry to the birthday celebrations at The Jam House, St Paul’s Square, Birmingham where delegates can enjoy food, drink and entertainment and live music with colleagues old and new.
