The Brighton Centre joins AEV

We are proud to announce that the Brighton Centre, the iconic seafront venue and home to dozens of national party conferences since the late 1970s, has joined the association!

Howard Barden, head of Tourism & Venues at Brighton & Hove City Council, explained the reasons for joining the AEV, saying, "We are delighted that the Brighton Centre is now an official member of the Association of Event Venues. We look forward to working together with our peers to share best practice, benchmark, and learn from one another - in order to help us all continue to grow the industry, and help us continue to flourish as the South East's largest conference & events venue."

Rachel Parker, AEV director, said, "I'm delighted to welcome the Brighton Centre to the association as its newest member. Its fame as a venue for political conferences is only rivalled by its popularity as a centre for live entertainment. Growth in our membership means welcoming new expertise and experience into the organisation, and I have no doubt that the Brighton Centre is a great asset in this regard."

Membership is open to all types of venue, domestic or overseas. Contact alden@aev.org.uk for more info.
