Promotion for Miles at AEV.

The Association of Event Venues has promoted its membership executive, Kimberley Miles, to the position of association manager with immediate effect. Miles, who has worked for the association previously, will now be taking responsibility for the management of the association's working groups, as well as the cross association groups that are also managed by the AEV.

AEV director Rachel Parker commented, “Kim has demonstrated the organisational, project management and account management skills to take on this new role. In her newly expanded role Kim will be responsible for managing all AEV and cross association working groups. Our working groups are at the heart of the AEV and a key benefit for all our members. I am delighted that Kim is ready to progress and I know that she will continue to be a major asset to the organisation and its members.”

The AEV currently runs six of its own working groups for catering, eGuide, event managers, HR, marketing & communications and security, and manages three cross association working groups for sustainability, technology and the electrics technical committee.
