Report: Event Manager Working Group 21.11.1826 Nov 2018
The weather may be turning colder but the warm reception the Event Manager working group received from our hosts Farnborough International was most welcome.
A large representation from across our membership were present; from SEC to ICC Wales to Bournemouth International Centre.
Those present took every opportunity to catch up with their peers sharing updates from a personal and professional world.
For a large proportion of the meeting the group split into two to review the group’s purpose and explore future needs. A vast range of ideas were shared with outputs ensuring the expansion of 2019’s possible content.
Agenda items followed concerning eGuide updates, death of monarch, sustainability and venue use for filming locations.
Venue updates closed the meeting.
A generous lunch was provided courtesy of Sodexo and the day closed after the Farnborough team led the team through their venue on a fascinating tour.
